Vans Updates The Classic Era With Super ComfyCush Construction

Vans Updates The Classic Era With Super ComfyCush Construction

Since 1976, the Vans Era has been the shoe of choice for countless skateboarders, surfers, and non-athletes alike for its padded collar, fashion-friendly color combinations, and accessible price-point. As Vans continues to envision the next 54 years of business, it’s tweaking the formerly-known-as-Vans #95 model with its ComfyCush and Super ComfyCush foam and rubber combinations.

Unveiled as part of the “Mixed Media” collection, the modified Era feature retro-styles laden with disparate patterns and colors, including the California-institution’s checkerboard print and animal prints. Uppers are also revamped with new canvas material, and house a one-piece interior, added arch support, and moisture-wicking lining. Together, these design choices deliver a lightweight wear that ups the pair’s comfy ante. Beyond simply outfitting the 44-year-old silhouette with a softer, more cushioned outsole, the “Off The Wall” brand has also created a platform-soled perfect for anyone striving to know what it feels like to walk on clouds. Unlike the “Mixed Media” set, this Super ComfyCush Era features a rather tonal “Purple Velvet” suede arrangement, which is complemented with not only checkerboard patterns, but also multi-colored stripes along the midsole.

Enjoy a look at the comfortable Eras ahead, and over over to Vans.com right now to secure your pair(s).

Elsewhere, the extensive Simpsons Vans collection is still available for purchase.
