Michael Le With the official announcement of their Wonder Woman collaboration, Reebok is proving themselves to be big fans of the DC universe. Alongside a series of celebratory apparel, the Boston-based footwear label is commemorating the heroine’s latest film, “Wonder Woman 1984,” with a gold-clad Classic Leather.
The first shoe to be unveiled — an implication that more is on the way — the silhouette effectively honors the DC hero’s newly acquired armor, its gold metallics reflected on the entirety of the upper’s construction. Vector logos, toe caps, and the counter are all gilded with the same polish, while the laces and tongue reference the Lasso of Truth as well as the outfits under layer respectively. Reebok insignia is then debossed into the tongue, complementing the Wonder Woman logo which embroiders atop the heel.
