Though often overshadowed by the Dunk Low and High, Nike SB‘s current roster of skateboarding silhouettes are equally notable for their utility and on-board comfort. And though many will still choose to skate the aforementioned, there’s surely a sizable audience who consider the Alleyoop to be one of their favorites.
Dressed in many a neutral prior, the low profile model is currently set to honor what ostensibly inspires its namesake: basketball. Doused in both red and black, the upper is unashamed in its nod to the “Banned” Air Jordan 1, each element a mirror reflection of said muse. The bold shade finds its place along the leather of the swoosh as well as the toe box, while dark neutrals coat around in their mosaic of suede, mesh, and what looks to be nubuck.
