Since Cactus Plant Flea Market paid homage to the silhouette with their Air Force 1, the Nike Air More Uptempo has gradually received the recognition it deserves, its releases now on the uptick as a result. Its latest colorway, which follows up a basketball-inspired full family size run, leans outside of the silhouette’s performance ethos to draw reference to beloved militaristic palettes.
Doused near entirely in “Cargo Khaki,” the upper quickly reminds of both army attire and Travis Scott’s interpretation of the Air Jordan 6 from not too long back. The nubuck along the front and side panels dress to the same olive, matching that of the tongue as well as the “AIR” applique that adorns the side in big bubble letters. Red outlines accent along the backing of the latter, adding brighter complement in tandem with the dark yellow that sits atop the eye stays as well as the swoosh-marked tongue tab.
Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to hit Nike.com likely within the coming months.
In other news, the Jumpman just dropped a massive Jordan Reserve Restock.
