Throughout 2020, NIKE, Inc. has revealed innovation and design that’ll carry it into the next few decades. Yet, the North American sportswear behemoth hasn’t forgotten about its past, retroing several silhouettes for the first time ever. The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 didn’t make the cut this year, but it’s headed to retailers in 2021 dressed up in a handful of colorways–including a recently-surfaced grey, white, black and purple one.
Reminiscent of the color schemes prevalent during the model’s debut in 1991, the forthcoming arrangement applies a mix of unassuming tones across the mixed-materials upper. Profile swooshes, upper eye-stays and branding on both the tongue and heel indulge in a contrasting purple. Sole units feature the more-eye-catching tone in its visible Air Max cushioning, as well as on part of its designed-for-overpronating-runners tread.
An official Nike.com release date is still unknown, but the first in the Air Structure series is set to return in early 2021. In the meantime, enjoy official images of this versatile pair ahead.
