Nike Soles The Air Max Plus With Grind Rubber

Nike Soles The Air Max Plus With Grind Rubber

Based on the extensive list of models that have been touched by Nike’s new recycled woolen fabric, the Swoosh is looking to use materials innovation to propel their sustainability agenda this year. Another eco-friendly creation the brand will be incorporating into its products is their Regrind rubber, which has already been seen on silhouettes like the Air Force 1. Now, the material is also dressing the outsole of an upcoming grey and red Air Max Plus.

While the light grey mesh uppers seem standard, the usual TPU molded wavy overlays are now a printed graphic atop the base for a softer look. The unique taping on the tongue spelling out “TUNED” and the speckled red laces use reflective materials to further elevate the model. Adding to the unconventional elements is no other than the Regrind rubber outsole, which uses recycled waste products to create a speckled look. Despite all these details, the Air Max Plus still maintains a clean look in Silver Bullet-esque colorway.

Expect the pair to hit Nike.com and the retailers listed below for $160.
