Nike Air Max Plus
The Nike Air Max Plus is a running shoe designed by Sean McDowell that takes its design inspiration from palm trees swaying in the wind in Florida during sunset. Its midfoot shank was designed with a whale’s breaching tail in mind, keeping the nautical themes at the forefront. hat unique upper design has gone on to inspire the design of other Nike models since, the Nike Vapormax Plus standing out as arguably the most popular one to do so.
Designed in 1998, the Air Max Plus is in the midst its 25th anniversary and will continue to be released in a number of new colorways. Additionally, new spinoff models have been added to the mix as a part of the celebration; the Air Max Plus Drift, the Tiempo hybrid and the Hike retooling are just a fewin that category.
