Andrew Rizzo The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus collection, one of a few major FW26 anime sneaker collabs alongside the adidas Pokémon collection, comes to a conclusion on September 25th with the release of the purple “Gomu Gomu” colorway. If you missed out on the first two colorways, there’s good news: the sneaker will be available via a one-hour pre-order window as a SNKRS Reserve launch, giving everyone in select markets a chance to cop.
Access goes to those who receive the corresponding Nike SNKRS notification. The pre-order runs for one hour, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST tomorrow, and guarantees a pair in your size. That window applies in the United States, Japan, and select European countries, with additional launch methods in other countries and regions noted below.

One Piece fans recognize “Gomu Gomu” as the Devil Fruit eaten by the anime’s protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy. Chapter 1044 later revealed that the fruit is actually the Mythical Zoan-type Hito Hito no Mi. That all probably sounds a bit foreign if you’re not a true fan, but that’s beside the point.
The Air Max Plus “Gomu Gomu” takes inspiration from Luffy’s Devil Fruit with a predominantly purple colorway (“Space Purple/Purple Venom/Altitude Green/Atomic Green”), working TPU swirls across the upper and midsole in place of the model’s typical TPU cage. The tongue, lining, side Swooshes, and Air bubbles land in Altitude Green, as do custom insoles featuring anime artwork. Additional co-branding appears on the inner and outer tongue, box, and packaging, accompanied by a flag of the Straw Hat Pirates’ iconic Jolly Roger.
