Kiko Kostadinov
Kiko Kostadinov is a Bulgarian fashion designer based in London, England. Creative director of his eponymous fashion label, Kostadinov is well known in the sneaker world by his close relationship with ASICS. What started as a traditional brand-collaborator relationship in 2018 has since evolved tremendously, as Kostadinov’s role with the Japanese brand is now similar to that of a design consultant. Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS footwear sees a fusion of avant-garde aesthetics and classic ASICS hallmarks, amounting to an extensive collaborative catalog that’s since captivated sub-cultures within the sneaker world.
Kiko-stamped pairs include re-imaginations of existing silhouettes like the ASICS GT-2160, but more often then not, the designer’s ASICS projects tend to introduce consumers to entirely new models.
