Air Jordan VI (6) – 2009 Doernbecher Freestyle – New Images

Last week we gave you a sneak preview of this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle project between Jordan Brand and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The Air Jordan VI has been chosen as the canvas for the yearly partnership and as usual, something very unique and interesting has been created. The Air Jordan VI has been draped in navy blue suede with some tonal graphics and patterns embossed into the upper. Accents are provided by some splashes of red and gold, giving the shoe a patriotic Olympic feel. A clear outsole and heel embroidery add some nice additional touches to the outside of the model, but there’s also some cool stuff going on inside it as well. The gold insoles feature a red embroidered Jumpman logo and the inside of the tongues sport a “What Time Is It?….Gametime!” message. As previously reported, these are expected to drop in very limited quantities late this fall, so stick with Sneaker News for further info.  Via Kenlu.
