Gourmet got a running start thanks to some early designs that were remarkably similar to Air Jordans. Jon Buscemi and company have evolved their own niche in the lifestyle sneakers market, but their latest collaboration with UNDEFEATED has some clear Nike inspiration. The UNDFTD x Gourmet Cinque pictured above is part of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection, but a look at the colorway and mudguard shape screams “1987!” As in, the OG Nike Air Max 1, which is clearly the jumping off point for this modified Cinque chukka.
