Most of you might not remember the original release of the Nike ACG Zoom Tallac Lite – after its release and high reviews particularly from outdoor apparel publications, the Zoom Tallac Lite was taken off shelves and discontinued. The Tallac later resurfaced as the Zoom Tallac Pro GTX which features a rubberized exoskeleton that was laid above the breathable Gore-Tex upper. In 2009, the original silhouette of the Nike ACG Zoom Tallac Lite finally returned to stores and was a success; the Tallac Lite is essentially a hiking boot that weighed as little as a trail runner. New colorways are headed for 2010, like this Varsity Red/Tour Yellow-Anthracite release, currently slated for an October drop date.
