Space Jam: 2009. Cool Grey: 2010. Sneaker News readers, take a look at what’s expected to drop later this year – the Air Jordan XI Concord. Put two and two together and you could’ve predicted the Concord XI release yourself, but it’s officially been confirmed that the Concord XI – the first colorway of the Air Jordan XI worn by Michael in an NBA game, will re-release during the Holiday 2011 season – likely at the end of December as the final Jordan Retro release of the year. Rumors of ’45′ on the heel-tab surfaced when Drake sported a pair of fresh Concords, but expect ’23′ to be on the heels of these releases. It’s been 10 years since the last true Concord retro (the 2006 DMP didn’t feature the Concord Blue) so expect these – the greatest OG Air Jordan of all time according to the results of the Sneaker News March Madness OG Air Jordan Tournament – to fly off the shelves like Michael taking off from the free-throw line. i think those are the dmp xi's in the picture just with the insole replaced and a sticker from a recent release. why else would they cover everything you could identify them with up like that? show the whole shoe

I like how these are 2000 Concords with a obvious insole switch. Notice the yellowing on the front part of mesh? Notice the patent cut is like pre-DMP cuts? Notice the Thick round laces? Damn alot of you got trolled hard. Not saying these wont come out but these pictured definitely aren't 2011/12 retroes.

We definitely getting these! 2 for me from the store and another 2 online while in the store! 2 for the wife, 1 for the 10 year old daughter, 1 for the 8 year old daughter and 1 for the twin daughter and 1 for the twin son! It's a must did for the "Playoff" 13's, "Cool Grey" 11's, "Bordeaux " 7's and "Wolf Grey" 5's! I agree. The first thing I noticed were the fat laces. Too fat for the recent retros. Would be nice though if they did release with these ropes.

I also missed out on the space jams but then i bought the cool greys. I then sold the cool greys because that colorway was tooo plain for me even if it was an AJ11. This colorway i will definitely get and keep. The Air Jordan XI is the only jordan shoe that i've ever camped out for and i will definitely camp out for it again this december. IMO, this is the best colorway.

Your almost right, those are actually 2000 concords, the DMPs do not have that much padding in the back. +1 to you for being able to spot the insole switch.

Their info is legit, but they are just trying to generate hype. Look at the shape, and fine details of the shoe, then you'd notice it's the 2000 concords. Jordan Brand hasn't used thick rope laces like that in forever, and the padding in the heel, high patent cut in the front toe box + yellowing mesh proves it's 2000 concords. Not to mention one pic with no other angles? When they finally do get the real samples you'll see that it wont look this good.

As classic and timeless as these are, they have a reputation for being the least durable and poorest made Jordan of All Time even when they released originally as Nikes. With JB behind this, I'm sure the quality will be downright pathetic. The strings will be thinner, patent leather poor, and the sole will yellow in no time. Glad I'm old enough to remember these during Thanksgiving Break so long ago and my whole high school had a pair. I mean everybody. But you youngsters have fun and get fly!!!
