This past Saturday marked the release of the Nike x Doernbecher Freestyle VIII, which featured the Air Jordan IV and Air Max 95 among a collection of six great models designed by six different youths at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. White the release date was set for that Saturday, eager sneakerheads were already lining up to get their pairs, as seen by this immense line-up outside the doors of Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer in Lower Manhattan. Of course, many sneakerheads came with their best kicks, as the Air Yeezy, Zoom Rooke LWP, and the Parra x Air Max 1 ‘Amsterdam’ were among the impressive sneaker sightings on site.
