Wale’s sneakerhead-ism isn’t only evident in his sick collection of kicks, but also in his infusion of his footwear passion into his music. Wale has made many a reference to his favorite kicks in some of his songs, emphasizing the exclusivity of some of his collection (for example, “I got Phil Knight talkin’ about ‘How you got them?’” and “My girls and my SBs, I got a thing for…”), or simply noting some classics, like the Air Trainer SC or the Air Jordan VI. Wale isn't who he used to be..his music used to be the shit but ambition was about 90% ass..he only raps about himself & cockiness is annoying and most of his fans are chicks..plus, he dresses just like a normal dude he just has money, and I'd respect that & say hes just bein humble but hes far from humble..nobody notices that he's somewhat of a hypebeast either..if you think about it dude will rock ANY shoe..you can't claim to be a sneakerhead and rock just any jordan like CMFTs & stealth 3s them jawns are ass..don't get me wrong he has plenty of heat, but if he rocked reebok classics and lugz everybody would still ride his dick I don't understand it lol..anyway I digress I can see I'm the only one that doesn't have his pipe in my throat.
