1948 x Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse ‘Arsenal 125′
December 12th, 2011 by John K. | 7 comments

Our friends in the UK are especially nuts about two things: trainers and football. Celebrating the 125th anniversary of Arsenal, footwear retailer 1948 will release an exclusive pair of the Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse decked out in some pristine detailing and one of the sickest commemorative boxes we’ve ever seen. The tongues feature ‘CXXV’ labels (125 for those who are rusty with their Roman numerals), and the lace dubrae depicts additional celebratory icons in 22ct gold (yes, gold), designed by Cartier jeweller Darren Sherwood. Just 25 pairs will be released at 1948 this Saturday, so check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think of the design!
