After this past weekend’s tense release of the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Weatherman’ (just 15 pairs per store at most locations), the release of the ‘Nerf’ this weekend won’t be as cushy and soft as the name suggests. Nike has just released the locations in which the Nerf will be available: the list includes NikeTown New York, Chicago, and Dallas, Metro Sneakers in Hyattsville, MD, Succezz in Chicago, and a select number of House of Hoops locations (Harlem, NYC 34th Street, PG Plaza, North Riverside, Beverly Center, Houston Galleria and Northline and Willowbrook Mall in NJ). The Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Nerf’ will retail at $125 is it comes packaged in a special-edition box that doubles as a functional basketball hoop, and a special edition KD IV ‘Nerf’ t-shirt that will drop at select retailers at $30.
