Air Jordan XVI – Ray Allen Miami Heat “Gold” PE
October 30th, 2012 by Brendan Dunne | 19 comments

It looks like LeBron James won’t be the only one rocking gold sneakers tonight, as Ray Allen will apparently suit up in this pair of the Air Jordan XVI in his first NBA game with the Miami Heat. Sure Ray might not get to enjoy the ring ceremony to the same extent as his teammates, but he’s part of the family now and may well be in line to grab one come next year. Click through with us to check out a shot of Ray practicing in his Air Jordan XVI ‘Gold’ PE (one that just might mean a Retro comeback is in the works for 2013), let us know what you think in the comments below, and be sure to look for them on-court tonight as Allen squares off against his former Boston Celtics squad for the first time.

I cant believe he played with the Gaiter on. Sick colorway but not for me. would love to see JB start rereleasing the 16's and up.
As a hardcore knick fan, if ray can hoop like dat wot a health wade, lebron & bosh, Miami might repeat... but those 16s are dope... most people love mikes playin shoes 1 thru 14 but I loved 15 to 19s. Espc da 16s... real classic design & great fa hoopin
Ray Allen= Classiest Player in the NBA. Also has some of the best Jordan PEs.
i got the cdp 16s they should drop 16-23 again not really a fan of 15s
All done with past years releases from 1-13. Now its time for the 14-21 releases!
@raybanner 14's are done too. candy canes, last shots and graphites in a 6 month span.
i really hope he bring these back out
I hope this does mean XVIs are coming back!!!
I wonder what Wade said when he saw those..
Nice!
Kicks are nice but Ray Allen is a lame dude, why rock a gold colorway when you didn't even win a chip with Miami. I hope the Celtics beat this team.
@damruff Hahaha Well keep Hoping my guy, and I'm a Laker fan
Does this mean Jordan brand gonna bring back the Air Jordan XVI in the future??????
Pure Sexiness
JB didn't waste anytime hooking Ray up with a Miami themed PE. Those are straight fire.
