Opening Ceremony had been quiet on the sneaker front since their adidas Originals collaboration dropped back in March. Here we see what could be the first sign of a second capsule arriving at retail without so much as a single preview, as once again the New York fashion label creates something utterly unique. The Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals Rock Mocc is a 5/8ths cut trail boot whose speckled midsole, ticked laces and mountain tongue logo push the burgundy suede upper up to the summit. Nike ACG fans might see a little Zoom Meriwether in the smooth upper construction, but that bulbous layered sole connects to the mid/late ’90s adidas ‘Feet You Wear’ era. Let us know what you think after seeing more images, then be ready for these on July 1st at shops like Concepts.
