Along with the release of his First String All Stars and an in-store appearance from Chaz Bojorquez, Converse is celebrating the grand opening of its new retail location in San Francisco today. This is Converse’s fifth inline store and the fourth crafted by Jennifer Carpenter Architect, which should give you an indication of how well that group’s designs have gone over. The magnificent 8200 sqft retail space is the One Star’s largest, and with its location on Market Street in the heart of Union Square, the sizeable location is sure to attract huge numbers. Click through to see more images including how the center staircase ties the whole building together and let us know if you’re ready for a big sneaker shopping day with Nike just around the corner.
