Air Jordan 9 Retro The Spirit 1

In 1993, Michael Jordan shocked the sporting world by announcing his retirement after winning his third straight NBA title with the Chicago Bulls. To fill the void at the United Center, the Bulls organization unveiled an incredible statue outside the front entrance of the arena which signified that the spirit of MJ lived on with the franchise despite the superstar moving on to new sports. Not two seasons later, Jordan made his comeback and Chicago went on to win another three-peat. This upcoming Jordan release celebrates “The Spirit” with the Air Jordan 9 Retro (the shoe that statue Jordan is wearing) with a dark militia green representing the natural color of the structure.
