The Nike Swoosh, or lack thereof, has played an intricate role in Jordan Brand history. We all so desperately clamor for the return of vintage Nike Air branding atop Jordan retros ranging from recent Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 6 releases that we’ll shell out the $220 for that feature alone. But what would happen if the Jumpman left the coveted check mark off of the Air Jordan 1? That’s exactly what happened for this black/white Air Jordan 1 Low “Swooshless”, as the premium black leather upper ditches the signature Swoosh completely for a surprise release. It’s hard to tell if the base of this AJ1 is elephant-printed in origin or if it’s just a tumbled leather construction, but we’ll have more details in the near future.
