Penny Hardaway’s Nike Zoom Flight ’96 “Olympic” Is Releasing

Nike Zoom Flight 96 Penny Olympic Release Details 01
With the NBA Finals now in the books, basketball fans can look forward to a summer of international basketball with the Rio Olympics in the near future. It’s unknown what USA superstars will make themselves available for Coach K’s squad, but Nike Basketball is focusing on the past with an awesome retro release slate that pays homage to the 20th anniversary of the squad that took home Gold in the 1996 Atlanta Games. One of those players was Penny Hardaway who rocked the Nike Zoom Flight 96 in a subdued white and navy colorway featuring plenty of carbon fiber for a supportive ride. At the time, Penny was one of the NBA’s brightest young stars and the Zoom Flight 96 helped push Hardaway into signature territory. A gold flaked ‘6’ branding hits the heel to honor Penny’s Olympic number. What do you think of the pair? Check out a detailed look below and while this retro will release on July 7th, you can secure your size right now on eBay.

Update: The Nike Zoom Flight 96 “Olympic” releases on July 20th, 2016 for $130.
