24 Kilates Miami Vertual Reality Store Opening 01

24 Kilates has teamed up with Diadora for their premium Miami-inspired Diadora N9000 “Copito” release, and this Friday the Barcelona-based retailer will be teaming up with Oculus for the first ever virtual reality sneaker shopping experience. The new technology turns Lincoln Road into the world’s first “Virtual Avenue” as the street is rendered in full interactive 3D allowing users to tour Miami Beach and shop at different store locations including a virtual rendering of 24 Kilates featuring some of their best collaborations re-stocking from the past year.

Miami-based startup Avenue Planet developed the idea for an immersive VR experience that combines head-turning visuals with a new digital e-commerce platform using virtual reality. The Avenue Planet official app is now available on the Oculus Google Store app and will allow customers to purchase a number of 24 Kilates’ best collaborations from the Miami virtual store. Check out a few teaser images below and if you’re lucky enough to have an Oculus Rift, start exploring the latest virtual location today.
