Nike SB fans might remember the era of the Pink Box, a time that was recently referenced through a special edition Nike SB Dunk Low colorway, and now it looks like Nike SB’s love of pastel pink shades is going to continue with the upcoming Nike SB Bruin “Pink Motel”. The pair is an homage to the legendary Los Angeles, California skate spot that became famous after the 10 foot fishbowl pool was featured in Powell Peralta’s 1987 video, The Search For Animal Chin featuring Bones Brigade (if you haven’t seen it yet, give the film a quick YouTube search and you won’t be disappointed). Since then the Pink Motel has been regularly featured in skate ads and regulars included Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, and many more. Now you can own this Nike Bruin Pink Motel for just $75 USD and add it to your Spring/Summer 2017 rotation when it drops this Thursday, March 30th at select spots like Premier and on Nike.com.
