Action Bronson went on record last week as saying he’s worked his way through all the other hot product and his love for New Balance reigns supreme. Whether it’s a timing thing or the up and coming Queen emcee is just hinting at his love of suede and mesh runners, Bronsolini is pictured in his latest music video wearing Ronnie Fieg’s ‘ECP’ Asics Gel Lyte IIIs. The Nike Air Yeezy 2 in all red has been spotted on the feet of Kanye West. The sighting comes from his SNL performance, a set that came at the end of an incredible multi-media promotional weekend for Mr. West. Promising that the all red Nike Air Yeezy 2 would be showing up was baby-moms Kim Kardashian, who Instagrammed a sneak peek at the shoes next to what appears to be an advance copy of his upcoming Yeezus album. No more Nike KD V Elite PEs will be hitting the floor for this season as Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder have gone fishing. Still very much in it though is other Nike Basketball big man LeBron James, who brought out another Nike LeBron X Miami Heat flavored PE this week while taking care of the Chicago Bulls. His sneakers also continue to show up elsewhere on the feet of the dwindling players that remain in the post season-JR Smith wore the “Superhero” version and Draymond Green got in on the NIKE iD action. Dwyane Wade continued to do his thing in the Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore, and apparently inspired heat teammate Haslem to do the same. Carmelo Anthony dialed it back just a little bit, wearing the Jordan Melo M8 advance while helping to keep the Knicks alive. There was a time not too long ago when Lil Wayne would stay draped up in all sorts of red garments as a signifier of a, somewhat questionable, gang affiliation. He’s cooled it down a little bit these days, but still prefers red for his Js it appears. Tunechi was spotted enjoying his seats on the floor at a recent Warriors/Spurs playoff game with the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red Toro”. And yes, he’s got the hangtags attached. Who says the Nike SB stuff can’t be appropriated for other action sports? Proving that a pair of Nike SB Dunk Highs will do just fine for some BMX action is this awesome shot, which captures rising star Nigel Sylvester in the middle of an incredible cross-platform leap with a pair on his feet. More specifically he’s got on the Nike SB Dunk High “McRad”, a sort of Black History Month special for the SB sub-division. You don’t exactly have to read between the lines of Queens rapper Action Bronson‘s lyrics to figure out that he’s got a thing for NB’s. Sure JR Smith’s shot was pretty off for last night’s Knicks game, but at the very least his sneaker game was on point. Smith went ahead and borrowed an Air Jordan V player exclusive from teammate Quentin Richardson, a dude who isn’t exactly getting the minutes these days to put them to use. As has been the custom for JR as of late, he switched them out at half time for a more performance oriented wear in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 Low.
