NBA Feet: Dwyane Wade Air Jordan 2010 | Black Red

Dwyane Wade has become a makeshift door-to-door (or better yet, “court-to-court”) salesman peddling the Air Jordan 2010. The “peephole” on the upper resulted in mixed reviews but here’s an instance in which the peephole plays a big role; last week, we showed you a new colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 that Wade wore in game, but here’s a better, updated look to that same pair. The shoes are the same but the color of the socks he wore were different, which give the shoes a completely different look. Check out the images after the jump to get a better look at this new colorway. via Yahoo!.

Celebrity Feet: Snoop Dogg adidas Superstar Stripes

Snoop Dogg visited BET’s 106 & Park earlier this week to promote his new album, More Malice, the deluxe version of his latest album, Malice N Wonderland. The new version will include various new tracks and remixes, as well as a mini-movie starring Snoop as a superhero who tries to save his city from destruction. Snoop took to the set wearing a Powder Blue adidas Originals tracksuit, along with a pair of the adidas Consortium Superstar “Stripes”, which were released last year. Snoop Dogg has been seen wearing a lot of adidas Originals product as of late and it should come as no surprise because he’s actually one of the newest members of the adidas Originals family.

NBA Feet: Nate Robinson Nike Zoom LeBron V (5) SVSM

St. Patrick’s Day is a Hallmark Holiday that the sneaker industry takes advantage of, using greens, golds, and other lucky tones to color up our favorite kicks. We can always expect great St. Patty’s Day PEs but last night’s games didn’t show much of the shamrock; even the Knicks, who have made it somewhat of a tradition to wear green Unis, kept it by the rulebooks. The Celtics, however, celebrate all year long, and Nate Robinson was caught yesterday with a DWI: Dribbling While Intoxicated. Check out Nate wearing the Nike Zoom LeBron V SVSM. There’s no need to explain the colorway but Nate’s been known to wear his boy’s kicks from time to time. via Yahoo!

NBA Feet: D.J. Augustin Air Jordan XII + Air Jordan Icons PEs

Once Michael Jordan gained a controlling stake in the Charlotte Bobcats organization, the Bobcats players were adorned with some great Air Jordan Player Exclusives. While Gerald Wallace is the face of the rising young Charlotte squad, D.J. Augustin is the future floor leader, as he’s been heating it up off the bench. Augustin’s another Bobcats player that’s been showing of some great Air Jordan PEs, and over the weekend he wore the Black/Orange Air Jordan XII and a great new PE of the Air Jordan Icons, which features a white upper and grey center panel with orange stitching. We should expect more PEs from DJ for the rest of the season. via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: Richard Hamilton Air Jordan XIII (13) Flint

Richard “Rip” Hamilton is a certified sneakerhead who just so happens to be one of the luckiest guys on the planet. To rock a different Air Jordan Player Exclusive on a weekly basis would be a dream come true, but lately, Rip has been bit by the nostalgia bug (or perhaps he’s a reader of Sneaker News) and decided to change up his usual line-up. Instead of the usual Air Jordan XII or Icons PE, Rip took a play out of Mike Bibby’s book and broke out the Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’ just days after a re-release was confirmed for 2010. Is he just following the buzz? Could Rip possibly wear the Infrared VI next? via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: Heat From Around The League Black & Red Edition

Do NBA players check Sneaker News? A bunch of lesser known role players have been rocking some certified heat lately – I guess they just like the exposure. The NBA Feet heat has us seeing red; the color was the theme for the night, as Devin Brown wore a pair of the Last Shot Air Jordan XIV, Amir Johnson brought out the Varsity Red Jordan VI (again), Juwan Howard rocked the Air Jordan Icons, and Dwyane Wade wore the original colorway of the Air Jordan 2010. Check out the collection of Jordan heat after the jump. via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: Michael Finley Air Jordan XII (12) PE White Black

NBA veteran and long-time Jordan Brand NBA floor model Michael Finley has been wearing some sick Player Exclusives of the Air Jordan XII. Due to his injury and diminished playing time with the Spurs, we couldn’t get a good look at them. Recently acquired by the suddenly aging Boston Celtics, Finley got some decent burn last night, tallying 10 points in just under 14 minutes. What got our attention was the Air Jordan XII PE he was wearing; he’s worn this colorway before but this is the first decent look we’ve gotten all season. Check out Finley’s XII PE (the Un-Taxi, maybe?) after the jump. via Yahoo!.

Celebrity Feet: Leonardo DiCaprio Nike Trainer 1

Leonardo DiCaprio arrived in Japan at Narita International Airport wearing a UCLA baseball cap, a pair of aviator sunglasses, and a pair of Nike Trainer 1’s in a GR (general release) colorway that are available now at various Nike retailers in the US. Leo was seen walking around the airport inconspicuous as can be while holding a digital camera in his hand and nothing else. The 35-year-old actor is believed to be in Japan while promoting his new movie Shutter Island - directed by Martin Scorsese – in which DiCaprio plays a US Marshall.

NBA Feet: Dwyane Wade Air Jordan Force VIII White Black Grey Red

Miami Heat Guard, Dwyane Wade, has become the face of Jordan Brand this past year, while he might not have his own signature shoe like other Brand Jordan athletes such as Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul, Flash has been tapped to wear the Air Jordan signature model, including the Air Jordan 2010 which he’s been seen wearing since the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. Wade along with various other teammates and members of the Miami Heat organization participated inthe 13th Annual Family Festival at Watson Island in Miami, Florida. The Heat Guard sported a pair of the recently released Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII’s in the classic Air Jordan VIII colorway of White, Black, Neutral Grey, and Varsity Red.

NBA Feet: Amir Johnson Air Jordan VI (6) Retro Black Varsity Red

We’ve seen a growing number of sneaker-head NBAers who have shunned the team-appointed shoes and gone into their own collections for in-game gear. Amir Johnson of the Toronto Raptors decided the Air Jordan VI (6) Retro Black/Varsity Red was a worthy pick for Tuesday night’s game against the Lakers. The Black/Varsity Red Jordan VI Retro was the highlight of the January 2010 releases, and Johnson reminds us once again that Jordans are, in fact, basketball kicks. NBA Feet: Dwyane Wade Air Jordan 2010 PE Black Red

It was only a week ago when Dwyane Wade made a return to the Miami Heat’s lineup and in a fresh pair of Air Jordan 2010 PE’s in White and Varsity Red. Since being welcomed to Brand Jordan this past Summer, Dwyane Wade has shown off a number of his Player Exclusive colorways including the White and Metallic Silver Air Jordan 2010’s that he wore on his way to winning this year’s 2010 NBA All-Star Game MVP award. And this was no different last night when Wade and the Miami Heat visited the Charlotte Bobcats, the NBA franchise that Michael Jordan just purchased, D.Wade decided to break out another PE colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 in Black and Varsity Red. It seemed as if last night there were more Air Jordan sneakers on the court than in any other game considering a number of players on both teams wear Brand Jordan sneakers including Miami’s Quentin Richardson as well as Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson, and others. Take a look at what everyone was wearing after the jump…

NBA Feet: Thaddeus Young + Damien Wilkins Nike Air Penny II Atlantic

It’s always great to see NBA players rocking some kicks that were obviously hand-picked out of their own collections. We’ve seen tons of Hyperizes, Flip’Ns, and other team-based designs but its always a treat to see players who are aren’t ashamed to display their sneakerhead backgrounds. Thaddeus Young of the Sixers and Damien Wilkins of the rebuilding Timberwolves wore the Nike Air Penny II in the Atlantic colourway – a definited sneakerhead favorite and one of the best releases of 2009. How well did these hold up on the court? Check out the pics after the jump. via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: Weekend Heat From Around The League

Another weekend of great NBA games has passed, with a physical re-match of the ‘09 Finals on Sunday, and a disturbing physical breakdown on Friday night’s Pistons game (hope you’re doing well, Stuckey). Aside from the drama was a nice collection of kicks, particularly the man himself, Michael Jordan, wearing a pair of CDP Air Jordan 1. A couple of 25th Anniversary Jordans were spotted, as was the Nike KD2…on Amare Stoudemire? Check out the heat from the weekend after the jump. via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: Kobe Bryant Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Black Del Sol White

Yesterday night’s Kobe v. Wade is an example of one of the premiere shooting-guard match-ups over the last decade. Many celebrities and sports greats recognized the magnanimity of the bout, as Scottie Pippen, Albert Pujols, Jason Taylor, and Timbaland were courtside to witness the battle. To gear up for the contest, Kobe Bryant wore a new colourway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, perhaps take some shine off Wade’s recently unveiled Air Jordan 2010. The black, del sol, and white colourway is ‘Lakers Away’ to a tee, but unfortunately the Lakers fell just short of a W. But Win or Loss, you know there was a bangin’ afterparty. It’s Miami for cryin’ out loud! Check out the pics after the jump and let us know: are the”Del Sol” the best Away Kobe V colourway? via Yahoo!

Celebrity Feet: Idris Elba Nike Air Force 1 Black History Month 2010

Idris Elba was spotted sitting courtside at the Lakers game on Tuesday night, but star-sightings in LA are the norm. Elba is known for his many roles as intelligent, authoritative individuals, as seen as his portrayal of Stringer Bell in  HBO’s The Wire and of Charles Miner, the appointed manager of the bumbling Michael Scott in The Office. What Elba isn’t known for his being a sneakerhead, which is why this star-sighting was particularly interesting; Elba was wearing the Nike Air Force 1 Black History Month 2010 that released early February, and given Elba’s Ghanian and Sierra Leonian background, the choice of shoes is the least surprising of all. Check out the images after the jump. via theybf.

The Future Sole Design Program operated by Jordan Brand just completed its third year, with high-schooler Austin Jermacans winning the competition for his rendition of the Melo M6. The grand prize was $5,000 worth of computer equipment to help cultivate the young artist’s career, and on Tuesday, Austin had the opportunity to presented a production version of his design to Carmelo Anthony. But both the generous cash prize and chance to meet Melo was easily overshadowed by what occurred Wednesday night.
Carmelo Anthony set aside his usual kicks and wore Austin Jermacans’ Melo M6 during Wednesday night’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. To win the Future Sole competition is one accomplishment; to have your design be produced and worn by the man it was intended for is a lifetime achievement. In addition to being game-worn, the Austin Jermacans Melo M6 will also release to the public at select Jordan retailers in June. Do we have a future Tinker Hatfield in our hands? Check out the in-game pics and let us know which Melo M6 design is better; Jordan Brand’s or Austins? via Yahoo! and Jumpman23.
