Who rocked the best kicks over the last two nights? That title might go to Jordan Crawford and his Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ in a losing effort against the Knicks, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t other heat! Quentin Richardson rocked the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, while the Chicago counterpart popped up on a few more players like Demar DeRozan, who has been exclusive to the Kobe VI for a while. LeBron James wore the Black/Red PE of his LeBron 9 again, Jordan Hill of the Rockets wore the Air Flight ’89 in a fitting colorway, and Jeremy Lin continued the Knicks’ ‘Linning’ ways with the Hyperfuse Low. We’ve got more NBA Feet going full speed ahead so take a look below and let us know who you thought had the best kicks! via Yahoo!

“I GOT A RING!”
Superbowl Champion Victor Cruz was recently spotted in New York City at a special event with R&B artist Ashanti sharing a moment of salsa dancing, a dance that has become alarmingly popular ever since Victor first shimmied his feet during the 2011 regular season. Cruz revealed during interviews that the salsa dance is actually a special tribute to his mother, and he recently celebrated the birth of a new-born baby, so you know the salsa-dancing wide receiver is as much of a family man as he is a champion. Cruz is also gaining some press as a sneakerhead, as he preceded this White/Cement IV sighting with the LeBron 9 ‘Christmas’ during the parade on Tuesday. Take a look at Cruz’s White/Cement IVs after the jump and let us know what you think! via necolebitchie

College basketball offered up some premium entertainment last night as the UNC Tar Heels squared off against the big-time rival Duke Blue Devils and Big East heavyweights Syracuse and Georgetown got down and dirty in Western NY. Not much more can be said about the history behind these two match-ups; Duke and UNC have been trading blows for decades, while ‘Cuse and G-Town – without question one of the biggest rivalries in college sports – threw down in what is likely to be their last bout in the Carrier Dome, so it’s clear why Jordan Brand selected this great night to debut the all-new Air Jordan 2012. The UNC Tar Heels sported PE colorways of the Air Jordan 2012 ‘University Blue’, while Georgetown spiced things up by throwing some Volt into the mix by way of the ‘Wolf Grey’ joints. We’ve got some nice in-game action shots for you below so take a look and stick with Sneaker News for more NCAA Feet action as we near the tournament! via Yahoo

The NBA headlines continued over the last two days, as some major milestones were reached by two of the greatest players of this generation. Both Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce moved up on their team’s respective all-time scoring list this week, further padding their Hall Of Fame resumes with impressive marks. The Jeremy Lin show continued in New York City as the Harvard grad continued to show the promise he first displayed in the 2010 Summer League games, while Kevin Durant and the Thunder stopped a magnanimous effort by Monta Ellis, who dropped 48 points in a loss. Check out a full visual recap of the games below and stick with Sneaker News for more NBA Feet coverage throughout the rest of the season! via Yahoo!

Superbowl Weekend was, of course, dominated by NFL coverage, but don’t overlook the games that went down on Friday, Saturday, and before the big game! Seen on court were LeBron and D-Wade’s new PEs of their signature shoes, Earl Clark’s Air Foamposite One ‘Royal’, Ty Lawson’s Nike LeBron 9 ‘Cool Grey’, and a plethora of Air Jordan XIs on Monta Ellis, Michael Beasley, and more. Other notables include Jordan Crawford’s Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’, Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.V PE, and a special shoutout to Jeremy Lin, who rocked the Garden in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low. Last night, we showed you what LeBron James wore on his feet before the Heat and Sixers game tipped off. Turns out he had another new pair of LeBron 9s for the game as well, because he, along with Dwyane Wade, wore new ‘Alternate’ PE colorways of their respective signature shoes, matching their Alternate Red uniforms. We’ve mentioned before that the radical design of the LeBron 9 makes it conducive to some creative color-blocking, and this new PE displays just that as it mixes Black and Red on the upper for a sick two-toned effect. Dwyane Wade’s Fly Wade 2 was also an crowd-pleaser, utilizing a white heel and outsole to go with the black upper and completed with a red trim detail. Check out LeBron and Wade and their new kicks below and let us know which PE you liked better! via ESPN.

We already showed you all the heat that the New York Giants rocked during the Superbowl XLVI Media Day (Chicago X, Concords, Playoff XIIIs, Spiz’ikes, LeBrons – you don’t want to miss it), but here’s a look at what the G-Men will rock on Game Day; of course, the standout is the Air Jordan III Black/Cement cleats, which will be worn by Defensive Lineman Dave Tollefson and Linval Joseph. Scattered among the rest are cleats from Nike (the Vapor Talon Elite Fuse sitting just to the right of the Black/Cement III), Reebok, and adidas, so check out all of the New York Giants’ Superbowl XLVI Cleats below and let us know who you think will win the big game this Sunday.

Spike Lee was out of uniform (but not of character) during last night’s Knicks/Bulls match-up as he donned an outfit supporting a different NY team – the New York Giants. To match his New York Giants beanie and Lawrence Taylor jersey, Spike Lee wore the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Metallic Red’ while cheering on the Knicks, who put up a valiant effort against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. Luckily for him, there are no Home games scheduled for Superbowl Sunday, so his attendance streak won’t be broken! Check out one of the most sneaker-crazed celebs in Hollywood (by way of Brooklyn) after the jump and let us know what you think.

Fabolous has been on point with his Air Jordan game, keeping consistent with recent releases and even jumping the gun on a few. Recently, he laid out his ‘fits for upcoming events and outings, highlighting the Air Jordan XI Low White/Red, Air Jordan IV ‘Military’, and two Jordan Son of Mars colorways with matching apparel. You should’ve spotted ‘Loso’s Military IVs when he, along with Lil’ Wayne, Trey Songz, and a slew of other celebs partied it up with Stevie J last week, but we’ll keep you updated if he’s spotted with some other Jordan heat. Check out his Jordan line-up after the jump and let us know which catches your eye.

We already know that President Obama is on board with the Jumpman, but does the First Lady rock heat as well? Apparently more prone to lifestyle sneakers, Michelle Obama was recently spotted on-air with Ellen Degeneres rocking the CLOT x Converse Chuck Taylor ‘Handshake’. The Converse Chuck Taylor is obviously a very popular sneaker, so normally this wouldn’t be notable, but the fact that she showed up on the set with a collabo pair from one of Asia’s biggest footwear forces certainly hints at some deeper knowledge of the game, or at least a good stylist. Are Barack and Michelle Obama America’s first presidential sneakerhead couple? Is Joe Biden getting a pair of Nike Air Yeezy’s 2 before they drop? Stay tuned with Sneaker News for all the answers and check the photos after the jump. via Rick Williams
