Not long ago we showed you a new colorway of the Nike Air DT Max ’96 in Varsity Red/White set to arrive this Holiday 2013 season. Joining that Retro colorway is the original DT Max ’96 in Black/Varsity Maize-White, but there are a few things to point out before you decide to cop or drop; for one, the Max Air unit on this sample is silver instead of the OG Yellow, and the tongue label has the same “NIKE” logo used in the 2010 releases. Of course, things may change from now til the release, but if these changes remain, will you cop? Or do you already have the 2010 Retros sitting pretty? Check out the gallery of photos below and check out full listing of this Holiday 2013 sample from dballaholic on eBay.

From the weird world of unreleased Nike samples, we bring you the “Tile Posite” sample of the Nike Zoom Kobe III. Clearly the upper is made of some sort of composite material that Nike dubbed “Tile Posite”, which is built via a seamless one-piece upper and some eccentric cut-outs around the foot for ventilation and/or aesthetics. The released version of the Nike Zoom Kobe III (if you young’ns can even remember) wasn’t much more subdued in comparison, using a funky “tiled” cutout of squares stretched out to fit over the foot, so perhaps this sample we’re seeing here is before the actual “Tile Posite” was even applied. In any case,we’ve got a gallery for you peer at below, so take a look and let us know if you have any Kobe IIIs in your collection.

One of the more inconsistent details in the entire Air Jordan OG and Retro catalog is the “23″ embroidery that has popped up on select models. The Air Jordan V and X are the two that can’t seem to get any sort of rhyme down in terms of adding or omitting the ’23′ stitching on the heel, but we do see that last year’s Spring 2012 release of the Air Jordan X “Stealth” potentially had it in the works. In addition to the “23″, this unreleased sample also shows grey lace eyelets instead of the black used in the release version, which provides even more contrast. So, what’s your verdict? This sample, or the one that hit stores? Check out the this rare look below courtesy of jesusisbackintown on eBay.

The upcoming Air Jordan XI Low that is scheduled for a May release could have ended up a bit differently. See this here? While it looks the same as the one you are expecting to release, these have a red outsole, making them a bit too much like last year’s Air Jordan XI Low release. The remainder of the color-profile is the same, but considering these are a scrapped sample, the asking price is, well, almost not worth the extra money, especially considering the number of skilled sole-swappers and dyers that can probably get that done. New photos have emerged, so take a look from the shoes seen on this listing from jesusisbackintown on eBay.

Another incredible Air Jordan 1 could be in the works for 2013 – this sick military-themed colorway that makes use of digi-camo graphics on the upper. 2013 was already one of the best years for the Air Jordan 1, with an onslaught of OG-style releases giving some youth to the oldest Air Jordan sneaker, and this sample, which featuring a beige upper and a unique combination of olive green and light blue on the camouflage print, hints at what else could be in store for the second half of the year. No word if these are a scrapped sample, but we’ll keep you updated on any developments regarding a release. See the photos below and stay tuned for more while viewing the full listing from jesusisbackintown on eBay.

Amidst this current Retro cycle of the Air Jordan VIII is the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93, which combines the original Air Jordan 1 silhouette with signature details from the Air Jordan VIII. We’ve seen a Home “Bugs” colorway already drop, but we’re getting a hint at a potential upcoming releases as we get a first look at this sample colorway in Red, Green, Yellow, and Black. Some interesting details regarding this sample include the different tones of the green (likely for look-see purposes) and the mis-matched outsole colors. We’ll keep you updated if a release is down the road, but in the meantime, check out the images below and see the full listing from jesusisbackintown on eBay.

The demand for Retros has forced NIke to experiment with some old-meets-new designs like the recently released Nike Mach Force Mid – a sneaker that clearly draws inspiration from the leather-built high-top sneakers of the late 80′s and early 90′s. The enlarged “FORCE” logo on the tongue is also a clear giveaway that this sneaker was meant to appeal to 80′s babies, but the it’s the younger generation that has embraced those revised mid-tips. This low-top version of the Mach Force in Anthracite/Atomic Teal/Volt was intended to be a release during the Spring 2013 season, so take a look at the sample below and see the full listing from identitiesrevealed on eBay.

The high-flying Nike Roshe Run has been sitting comfortably at the top of the sneaker power rankings for quite a while, and there really isn’t a “dip” in sight because the best is really yet to come. We do, however, get a rare look at a Roshe that Nike passed up on – this nice “Tent/Dark Royal Blue” colorway that was reportedly intended to drop during the Fall 2012 season. It’s got an earthy mustard-yellow upper with a contrasting blue on the outsole and Swoosh, and although we don’t know how well these would’ve performed at retail, we do know that Nike needs to release more non-white outsoles on the Roshe! Check the angles below and if you need a Roshe fix, see the listing from amcd77 on eBay.
