The Air Jordan 1 Jeter isn’t the only sneaker on the way for a release this weekend that will pay its RE2PECT to that man. Also coming is a pair of the Jordan Flight Flex Trainer in a similar Yankees looking colorway. This model is a purely functional one though, so instead of the smooth leather on the retros you’ll find a performance mesh panel along with some Flywire underneath. Have a more detailed look at this new pair from the Derek Jeter collection after the click and keep it locked here for more Jordan release dates.

The Air Jordan 1 Jeter will release this Saturday, September 20th. The pair is Jordan Brand’s latest way of tipping their hat to the legendary leader of Yankees lore during this, his final season in the MLB. The pair isn’t quite a Retro High OG build as earlier speculated, but rather features the “Jeter” logo on the tongue in place of any typical branding you might find there. y 3 qasa low spring 2015 1 adidas Y 3 Qasa Low Spring 2015 Preview

The adidas Y-3 Qasa continues to showcase how versatile that upper can be, as the base is the only thing that has remained rather unchanged throughout the silhouette’s brief history under the three stripes ongoing imprint with Yohji Yamamoto. We’ve seen the sneaker feature a Shell-Toe, a Wrap-like aesthetic, a breathable and flexible neoprene mesh, so what’s in store for Spring 2015? The Y-3 Qasa Low continues with the neoprene construction, but the toebox gets an added dose of luxury with a perforated suede or a premium knit material. Which do you prefer? As always, we have a full rundown of images after the click and expect each pair to be available from select shops like Sneakerboy come December 2014.

emerald nike air command force A Detailed Look at the Nike Air Command Force Emerald

This year’s return of the original Nike Air Command Force might be tougher to track down that you’d originally assumed. At least for the “Emerald” colorway, it appears that there is a version on the way that will be limited to just 50 pairs. We can only assume that won’t be the case for each of the pairs coming back out of the archives though – it wouldn’t really make sense in terms of cost to resurrect this silhouette only to make a couple hundred pairs total. Continue reading to see how the shoes are shaping up, including the slick black box that they’ll arrive in, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a release date on these David Robinson classics.

There might be more trivia surrounding Michael Jordan than there is around any other sports figure in history. Of course that’s with good reason – the man is the consensus Greatest of All Time and his legacy still looms large over the current crop of NBA superstars. But how much of the Jordan and Air Jordan lore do you know? How much time have you spent studying the man beyond just the retro pairs that show up on shelves every other week?

solebox asics gel lyte iii unreleased A Look at an Unreleased Solebox x Asics Gel Lyte III

Let’s hope that one of these days we get another Solebox x Asics project to make it all the way to retail. Adding on to the heap of retro pairs done up by that German boutique that never quite made it to that stage is this Asics Gel Lyte III, which features a colorway that’s a lot more muted than previous outings between the two. The modest pair does have its bits of branding though – you’ll notice that the heel features an icy look with the Solebox logo underneath. Have another glimpse at the Solebox x Asics Gel Lyte III pair with us after the click and tell us in the comments if you’d pick them up at retail.
