Air Jordan Rainbow Pack

It all started with that Air Jordan IV, showing up with the monochrome blocking on top that was unlike any Air Jordan colorway we’d seen before. After that the Air Jordan XVI and Air Jordan XII did the same, suggesting that the super colorful pairs were part of some over-arching theme never to make it to retail, sort of in the same vein as the ‘History of Flight’ or ‘Pantone’ series. Well folks, Pandora’s box has officially been opened-it turns out the set spans quite the range, starting at the Air Jordan 1 and reaching all the way up to last year’s Air Jordan 2011, created strictly for display purposes in the Spring 2011 season just like the aforementioned collections. Every two pairs along the way sports a slightly different shade, with the 25 separate models included pretty much spanning what the rainbow has to offer. Hit the jump with us to check out the crazy Air Jordan ‘Rainbow Pack’ courtesy of brokeonjordans on eBay and let us know which pair among them you like the most. Photos: brokeonjordans

Collections: Nike + Air Jordan PEs

It’s safe to say that all of you reading this consider yourselves ‘collectors’ to some extent. While we all fit under the broad umbrella of sneaker collecting, most of us have a specific category that weighs heavy in our hearts. This collection submitted by winson_guo for example goes ham on the PE’s, opting to chase down some of the more elusive pieces of sneaker history out there. The selection includes pairs from big name Nike and Jordan athletes like Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul, and branches out over a good number of models. There’s plenty of Jordan legacy releases with the team flavored colorways, the Air Jordan 2010, Air Jordan 2011, and Air Jordan XII to name a few, then groups from Nike Basketball sig’s like the Nike Zoom Kobe VI and the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. Follow us after the jump for the full photos and let us know what you think of this collection.

Air Jordan 2010 Autographed Pair For Ronald McDonald House Charity Auction

In late October, Sneaker News showed you a rare piece of Air Jordan memorabilia – an Air Jordan 2010 autographed by Michael Jordan and the legendary footwear architect Tinker Hatfield. It’s extremely rare to see an Air Jordan signed by both icons of footwear history, but MJ and Tinker came together (with MJ donating the sneakers from his own collection) to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon. In fact, this particular pair is the only Air Jordan in existence with both signatures, and Tinker himself has provided a letter of authenticity to prove that what you’re bidding on is truly a piece of history (and all for a great cause!). The auction is now live and will run until this Friday, December 9th, at 11:45 AM, so check out the extra shots below and head to MWCAuction to bid now.

Air Jordan 2010 Dwyane Wade Tonal Red PE

Dwyane Wade’s various allegiances seem to line up quite nicely. As a Chicago native and Miami representative, any combo of black, red, and white is a nod to both where he’s been and where he’s going. That’s why his Jordan Brand PE’s always seem to work so well, blurring the lines between his childhood in the Chi and his current career in South Beach. We’ve got a look at an Air Jordan 2010 PE for Wade here that never hit retail, a tonal red jumpoff that is heavy on the suede. ‘Raging Bull’ Air Jordan 2010′s? Dwyane Swades? Have a look at the full photo after the jump and let us know what you think.

Air Jordan 2010 Team Oregon Ducks PE

It’s been an exciting year for Oregon Ducks athletics; its football team played for the National Championship while sporting some sweet Air Jordan IX PEs during the pre-game Media Day, and the men’s Basketball team got to play on a brand new basketball court designed by Tinker Hatfield while wearing some of the latest Nike gear to date. It certainly doesn’t hurt to be the alma mater of the founder of the Swoosh, and this Air Jordan 2010 Team PE is one reason why; this black/white PE colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 Team features school insignia around the heel with a hint of the elephant print embedded onto the breathable upper. ‘Ducks Team Issue’ is printed on the medial heel, but these Oregon-only kicks can be yours by checking out the auction from sole_supreme on eBay.

Air Jordan 2010 Black Dark Charcoal Varsity Red | June 2010

All eyes are on LeBron and his free-agency but another championship-caliber franchise player might be switching teams as well. Dwyane Wade and his Air Jordan 2010 could very well leave Miami behind for another squad starving for a superstar, so it’s not only LeBron’s decision that will potentially shift the balance of power in the league. What we do know is that this colorway of Wade’s shoe, the Air Jordan 2010, is set for a June 2010 release. Featuring a very Dark Knight-ish mix of black and dark charcoal on the upper and varsity red through the bottom sole, this pair would fit well in…Chicago? Check out these images and chime in with your thoughts on this latest pair of the Air Jordan 2010. Thanks got_those
