Air Jordan 8
The Air Jordan 8 is Michael Jordan’s eighth signature basketball shoe. It released in 1993 during MJ’s “Three-Peat” Championship season. Created by Tinker Hatfield, this is the last shoe that Jordan wore before his first retirement. The sneakers feature a mix of leather, cross straps, Zoom Air, and more. The Air Jordan 8 first debuted in February 1993 during that season’s All-Star Game. First revealed in the “Aqua” colorway, the shoe would eventually release in a total of three original colorways – “Aqua”, White/True Red aka “Bugs Bunny”, and Black/True Red aka “Playoffs”.
Though 2024 was devoid of any Air Jordan 8 releases, 2025 is looming as a bounceback for the silhouette. The return of the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” and Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” are the major headlines at the moment, capping off a two year run where all three original looks have returned to shelves.
