Reebok seems to be going in backwards chronological order with this one, setting up the much-talked-about Reebok Question Retros to start out with a couple pairs Allen Iverson rocked during his NBA time only to follow them up with this, a themed ‘Georgetown’ release. The pair dons a Georgetown Hoyas look, recalling Allen Iverson’s college days with a grey/navy/white setup. Only thing is you’ve got to wait for them, with the release date marked as March 8th, 2013 (which gives you plenty of practice time beforehand). Click through to check out the Reebok Question ‘Georgetown’ and let us know if you’re looking forward to this release.

Where Burn Rubber chose to create a character to pay homage with via the Reebok Question, the mighty Packer Shoes has instead decided to craft up a colorway inspired by real life legend Allen Iverson. The shoe pictured grabs its name from a particularly memorable off-court moment in AI’s career, that press conference clip in which practice was the main topic of inquiry much to the chagrin of Iverson. The sneaker stirs up a clean 76ers-inspired colorway, cramming in plenty of extra details like the starry insoles, ’7′ and ’6′ hits on the heel, and the bit of 3M splashed onto the paneling. Click through for a look at the Packer Shoes x Reebok Question ‘Practice Edition’ release, as well as the awesome tees to go with, and mark your calendars that they will be dropping at the Teaneck, NJ shop come next Friday, October 19th.

While Jordan Brand tried their hand at recreating one of the more humiliating in-game moves in basketball history with that Craig Ehlo pair, Reebok just may have one upped them here, bringing back the same Question colorway that AI wore when he broke MJ’s ankles. Now you get to wear them too, although there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to take on MJ one on one as a result. Click through with us to check out the crispy white Reebok Question with that clean pearlized navy toe cap and keep in mind that these will release tomorrow, October 5th, and sneaker spots like Oneness.

“I’m supposed to be the franchise player, and we in here talkin’ about practice! I mean, listen, we talkin’ about practice. Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We talkin’ about practice.”
The press conference clip is infamous. Allen Iverson‘s heart, toughness and love for the game of basketball are indisputable, but when it came to his feelings about practice … well, let’s just say he wasn’t losing any sleep over it. Over the course of his legendary career, an undersized AI regularly drove to the hole into a forest of frontcourt trees with reckless abandon and no regard for the beating he would take as a result. He left it all on the court every night and played hurt on a regular basis, so can you blame him for not being all that worried about the further abuse his body would take in practice, not to mention the extra miles it would put on his game kicks.
Years later, Packer Shoes has teamed up with Reebok to present the Question Mid “Practice Edition”, a shoe designed for AI to wear on the practice floor, that may or may not have ever been worn for those purposes. From the nubuck upper and classic Sixers color scheme to the 7/6 Philly nod on the heels, the 3M midpanel hit to the rising star motif found on the toe and insoles – why would anyone ever want to scuff or crease these up in the name of practice of all things? Well, now the choice will be yours as these will be hitting the public for whatever activities your heart desires, practice or otherwise. These will probably not make your teammates better, but they’ll look good doing it, so stay tuned for further release info on this juicy October drop coming soon.

“…just the fact of it being my shoe, was enough for me…”
Those words pretty much sum up the emotion and ecstasy felt by Allen Iverson upon being introduced to the Reebok Question, his first official shoe. In these two short yet sweet videos, Allen Iverson, undeniably the brand’s most recognizable signature athlete of its history, sits down with Reebok Classics lead Todd Krinsky to chat about the origin and blossoming of the Reebok Question, which has arisen to new levels of prominence in 2012. It’s definitely worth a look so check out the videos below and let us know if you’re planning on copping the White/Pearlized Blue Questions set to hit stores very soon!

In 2011, Reebok brought on Swizz Beatz to become the brand’s lifestyle manager. By 2012, the Reebok Back movement is well on its way to its goal, and much credit should go to the re-release of the Reebok Question, which began with the OG White/Red earlier this year. The follow-up to that Question is another Iverson original – the Pearlized Blue; Iverson rocked this colorway during his rookie campaign and even faced off against Michael Jordan (who wore the White/Red XII) in a much-publicized match-up that resulted in one of the best cross-overs in NBA history. The reported release date stands at October 5th, but these are now beginning to arrive at confirmed stock-lists like Mr R Sports, so check out the images below and let us know what you think.

Could anyone check Allen Iverson one-on-one? At one point, Iverson cracked the legend Michael Jordan in a showdown between new and old when the Sixers (with a pre-cornrow AI) took on Jordan and the Bulls. Iverson managed to shake Michael with one of his trademark crossovers and sank a jumper at the top of the key, sending the Philly crowd in a cheery frenzy. During that memorable moment in NBA history, AI wore the Pearlized Blue Questions, which Reebok is creatively spinning into the ‘blue tips’ and ‘Crossover’; these are set for a release on October 5th for $125 at select Reebok retailers, so check out the official images below and let us know if you prefer these over the Pearlized Toe White/Red ones that dropped a few months back.
