We have recently shown you some individual previews of the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 installments of Nike’s LIVESTRONG collection and now we get a good look at the entire Air Max leg of the pack. Joining the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 is the Air 180, an underappreciated piece of the Air Max legacy. These three models offer a nice retrospective of Air Max history, showing off the evolution of Air Max technology within the LIVESTRONG pack. The biggest change between the three models is the step by step inclusion of more and more Air cushioning. Each shoe was known to be the most well-cushioned running shoe of its time, and by the time the Air 180 was released in 1992, the visible Air Sole had gotten bigger than ever, providing some slick aesthetics and offering more comfort and performance capability than ever before.
All three of these Air Max models feature a black and yellow LIVESTRONG-inspired color scheme with some additional secondary white and grey accents differing from one shoe to the next. The Air Max portion of the LIVESTRONG collection will be available at select Nike retailers beginning Saurday, May 16th. Show your support for the cause by picking up a pair, or better yet all three. Check out some more images of the kicks after the jump, as well as a breakdown of where you can find them this weekend. Via NSW.
