While Native American design inspirations have become a hot trend of late, Nike is taking it a step further and using a classic design to benefit the Native population. With a limited release starting last Thursday only at the Beverly Center House of Hoops and online on November 7th, the new Nike N7 Collection will use environmentally frendly Considered designs like the N7 Huarache with the intention “to promote active and healthy lifestyles, as well as the collection’s focus on sustainable innovation.”
Along with the natural inclusion of the Huarache, the Air Pegasus 26 runner will be released in black for men and white for women. Profits from the collection will go directly to the N7 Fund that supports positive social change for the next seven generations of the Native American community.
