Gourmet Quattro Skate Fall 2010

The Gourmet Quattro is quite possibly the boutique brand’s flagship model.  Its first edition was heavily influenced by the Air Jordan XII, with the revised model only vaguely similar to the AJXII.  And that makes the Gourmet Quattro Skate something of a simulacra, a simulation of a simulation of an Air Jordan that suddenly looks more like a plimsoll.  The back end outline of the Twelve’s ‘rising sun’ marks the beginning of a suede toe, double stitched for durability.  Pairs in navy blue, black and white each feature tonal leather on the hindfoot and white soles, and all of them are available from select retailers and the Gourmet e-store.
