Ricky Bobby got his arm broken for refusing to acknowledge the brilliance of crepes. It’s not like Beaverton has a gang of French bullies running around doing the same, but you’d still be a fool to sleep on the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Wallabee’. Inspired by Ghostface’s favorite kicks, the Clarks Originals Wallabees, these Air Max 1s feature a spongey crepe gum rubber outsole – just like the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Crepe’ of 2004. The upper is comprised of white shades of leather and suede plus horse hair for the Swoosh, finishing off the slightly ‘dressier’ than average look.
