It’s official. The Dark Neon Royal Foamposite One (commonly referred to as the ‘Penny’) is slated to release soon, with a early Spring 2011 release date in the states. 2010 was an incredibly solid year for the Foamposite, but 2011 might have it beat based on the strength of the Penny Foams alone. Of course, there are the Metallic Pewter Foamposite Ones to look forward to as well as the Electric Green Foamposite Pro, but the OG colorway of the hottest Retro basketball shoe at the moment is definitely the most coveted and worth doubling-up on. This is the shoe the Penny Hardaway himself went gaga over, and even at a fourth re-issue, these will fly off the shelves.
