“Be True to Your School” was a pre-Pet Sounds song by The Beach Boys released all the way back in 1963, but most sneakerheads know this phrase as it was applied to a pack of Nike SB Dunk Highs commemorating the original seven college basketball squads who wore the shoe when it debuted in 1985. Ever since then, and particularly this year, “Be True” has been co-opted by Nike and the latest place you’ll see it is on NiKEiD. The tagline is, “Be True. Fly Your Colors,” which really boils down to five super-basic colorways you can apply in your choice of blocking patterns to the Air Max 1, AM90, Shox NZ and of course, the Dunk High. Check out a few of the options after the jump, then head over to NIKEiD to craft your own. via FRESHNESS
