Converse recently delighted us with their quirky ‘Duffle Coat’ All Star but another classic American footwear brand has had the winter-coat-sneaker look down for years now. Here are the latest in a long line of Vans Vault Chukka LX ‘Peacoats’, perhaps the two highest contrast colorways we’ve seen so far. That’s thanks to switching Vans’ standby black-stripe-white-sole into all-black bottoms with foxing bands that match the wooly uppers. Take a look how the black soles contrast camel and wine uppers and grab the leather-laced goodness (last year’s pairs were waxed cotton) right now from Bow&Arrows.
