The Air BW Gen II got re-updated with a new style of Torch mesh, but what about the original Nike Air Classic BW? In another world, these were known as the Air Max ’91 or AMIV and this new colorway looks like the most famous one, except from another dimension. Sort of like a bizarro Persian Violet, these swap out purple for royal blue accent atop a base that sees its black and white sections swapped relative to the OG Persian BWs. So you get the same classic style the for which the BW is beloved and a little double-take action when knowledgable sneakerheads know they’ve seen these somewhere, but can’t quite place it.
