Steven Alan is best known for his use of high-quality materials on his signature apparel, so it shouldn’t hurt us that Alan received free-range in materials when he designed the Nike Toki, Nike Magma AC, Nike Lava Dome, and Nike Talache Low. Steven Alan has the invaluable ability to make even the most simple and toned-down of colors stick out in a large crowd, a sublime tool used for this collaborative project. Check out his take on the Nike Lava Dome; it features a grey suede and nylon upper with three different swoosh colors. He’s also re-tooled the Nike Toki to feature an elastic inseam for the true lifestyle boot appeal. The Magma features a full suede upper, while the Talache goes to opposite route with a full ballistic-nylon construction.
