The Nike Dunk Mid debuted on the Nike SB roster in 2006 and was an instant hit with great releases like the Mama Bears and Money Cats during the 2006 debut year and the Peacock and Linoleums of 2007. Both the Peacocks and Linoleums were similar in that both features a paisley-like stitched print on the upper. Check out this unreleased sample that appears like a combination of both the Peacocks and Linoleums, adopting the Peacock Blue upper and the print from the Linoleum release. At quick glance, a distinction between this sample and released version of the Peacock might not be made so quickly since the prints are so similar, but keep in mind that these two releases don’t have much in common aside from the fact that they’re both Mids and were released in 2007! These are actually infact samples of the Liam Sean Martin-designed Linoleums, using Aegean Blue instead of Red. Less than 10 pairs of these samples exist so check out the gallery below and see what the asking price is for these rare gems in the auction from mental_therapy on eBay.
