The Nike Air Max Iconic II is something like the early/mid ’90s answer to the turn of the decade’s Air Max Skyline. Both models offer nods to their respective design eras without offering an obvious hybrid construction, so with the AM Iconic II we see the 180-degree Max Air cushion popularized by models like the Air Max 93 and AM Burst. Aside from this obvious similarity, the Iconic 2 is far cleaner than its prequel, opting for a diamond-shaped side panel wherein a jeweled Swoosh is set, and these two new colorways keep ’em tonal for that subtly crisp look.
