The Nike Trainer 1 is a well known classic and enjoyed quite a welcome upon being resurrected in 2009. This release signaled a rejuvenation in the Nike Training series and plenty of retros from Nike Sportswear, but this model had been totally omitted until now. The Nike Air Trainer Max ’97 comes through with styling that’s somewhere between Charles Barkley and Ken Griffey Jr’s signature sneakers around that time, with a dash of Air Max 95 thrown in for good measure.
