If you’re an executive of the label that helped make Kanye West the international hip-hop/urban culture/fashion icon he is today, expect some great gifts. Shawn ‘Pecas’ Costner, an executive of Def Jam, just showed off his Grey/Red pair of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, given to him by Kanye West. Thus far, we haven’t seen the Air Yeezy 2 on the feet of anyone else, but Pecas’ fruitful relationship with Kanye deserves him so nice hook-ups! The upper of this new colorway features numerous tones of grey with a red inner lining and a mint green outsole – similar to that of the Black/Pink Air Yeezy 2 that we’ve seen quite a lot of. We also have a closer look at the tongue, which uses an enlarged diamond-mesh material, and the mid-foot strap harness on the medial side, which is decorated by triangular details. The toe-box also appears to have a ribbed stitching pattern, which spans most of the forefoot. Is this the best Air Yeezy 2 colorway you’ve seen thus far? Let us know after the jump.
