When Nike Sportswear resurrected this classic running silhouette earlier this summer, the original red and black pair came along with two other OG colorways. The Nike Vintage Oregon Waffle is now back in another bred colorway, only this time, the blocking has been altered for a more aggressive look. It’s particularly interesting to see how this Chicago-style look appears when paired with a pre-yellowed VNTG sole, a combination that serves as a reminder of how far sneaker design has come since Bill Bowerman was handmaking the first pairs on a kitchen-ready waffle iron.
