After re-opening its store after a brief renovations (the glow-in-the-dark floor being just one of the sick structural elements of the venue), Afew (formerly Schuh-You) has held a few sick events at its retail spot, like the Vintage Gallery Event (hands down one of the best sneaker exhibits of the entire year) and more recently, the MAX100 Launch Party. Matt Stevens’ MAX100 book has created positive waves across the sneaker community, particularly with Air Max 1 fans (like, everyone in Europe!); Afew opened its doors for a special pop-up exhibit showcasing some of Stevens’ best works from the book while offering some food, drinks, and live DJ’ed tunes.
