One of the big draws to living in southern California is that, even during January, the weather’s so nice that locals talk about other parts of the US as actually ‘having seasons’. You can count on the LA area to stay nice and warm, and Long Beach is just now cooling off from the conclusion of the recently wrapped Agenda tradeshow that brought news of a huge variety of sneakers slated for later this year. Among the standouts in attendance were two new pairs of New Balance 1500s that carry the premium distinction of having been crafted at the Flimby Factory along with that familiar ‘Made in England’ tongue embroidery. Both pairs go with nubuck on the majority of their uppers, a chioce that gives navy blue and grey makeups an extra frosty appearance. Maybe that’s just the winter talking, but we’ll be glad to welcome these as a late summer/fall release, and you can see more images by clicking on the jump below. via F5
