The Nike Air Max 90 has been all over the map in 2012, with releases and previews ranging from the classic OG Infrared blocking style in leather, suede and mesh to more boisterous colorways and newfangled construction variants. This new pair is somewhere in the middle, a departure from the original to be sure, but certainly more conservative than something like the argyle-lined ‘Lacrosse’ edition we recently previewed. These Air Max 90s come in Obsidian canvas with University Blue and white accents that looks the part of a Tobacco Road runner, and there’s a black/grey pair coming up in the same pattern, as well as another Obsidian joint leaning further toward denim.
