Sneakerheads have it pretty good in 2012, with brands going above and beyond to break the malaise of your typical shopping experience with cool promo events. You had to expect some of that to be doing down at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, as the platform is just too big for the likes of Jordan Brand to resist. The Air Jordan 2012 Flight Lab, which we tipped you off to here, will apparently be in Orlando for the festivities. The mobile sneaker experience boasts everything from training drills to interactive breakdowns on the brand new Air Jordan 2012, which will be available for purchase via the Flight Lab. Stick with us after the jump to get an inside look, and be sure to stop by if you’re in Orlando for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game.
During NBA All-Star 2012 in Orlando, the Jordan Brand will roll out the debut of the AJ2012 Flight Lab. The AJ2012 Flight Lab is a mobile retail unit that provides an elevated experience to explore the AJ2012’s interchangeable technology.
How it Works:
The Lab’s dynamic layout utilizes customized training drills, interactive content, and enhanced media to introduce the AJ2012’s personalized performance system. While accompanied by a dedicated tour guide, consumers will have the opportunity to engage Jordan’s three performance silos (Fly Around, Fly Over, Fly Through) followed by an immersive technology exhibition. The experience culminates with an opportunity to ‘Choose Your Flight’ by configuring a limited heritage colorway of the AJ2012 shoe properly adapted to your game.
