The Reebok Workout is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2012, and back in February, we were treated to fifteen different collaborative themes that prove this classic trainer still has plenty of mileage left on its distinctly mid-’80s soles. Japan’s mita sneakers was among the contributors to this large capsule, their Timberland-inspired ‘wheat’ look the latest in a long line of recent workboot-inspired sneakers. But all of those would end up bulldozed by this new Caterpillar x Reebok Workout Plus, a design whose boot build is furthered by the presence of the guest’s ubiquitous ‘CAT’ logo, an icon we’ve all seen on some serious heavy machinery.
